DV Lottery is the one and only program in the world which allows the eligible winners to live and work in the USA legally through the random computer name selection program. This official immigration program is operated by the American Government. The name lottery is only mentioned for the random name selection and there is no money involved to participate in the draw. The draw is covered with strict rules and regulations and the winners will have to pay for the visa processing fees at the time of the interview. This facility can be accessed only through the internet except the visa processing which will be carried out through the Embassies and USCIS office.

change their status, when their case numbers are current.

People may think this is a simple program and winning it will allow them to have the rich American life for them and for their family. But it is wrong. This
true and reliable program is covered with simple but tough rules, time limit and involves non refundable visas fees for the primary applicant and his/her dependants.

Other names of the program.
This program is officially called as diversity visa lottery program and many African and South American country people used to call it as green card lottery program because at the end of the process people used to get the green card (LPR).

Important facts.
Each fiscal year dv lottery program has its own name. For example, the DV 2015 visa lottery program is named and designed for the fiscal year 2015.

The application form is officially called as E-DV entry form and it will be available for a period of 30 - 32 days only.
