Affidavit

DV Lottery applicants must take notice that the rules for the American Government official Diversity Visa Lottery program requires each winner to provide Affidavit of support through the I-134 at the time of their interview. The on e who provides the Affidavit of support must be a U.S.A citizen or U.S LPR status holder. They must sign the I-134 form and return it to the desired consular office or to the selected person in time for the interview. The affidavit of support form I-134 can be downloaded from the U.S official web site free of charge.

There is no filing charge for I-134, it is free.

This Affidavit of support requirement is to prevent the newly arrived immigrant from becoming a public charge while living in the U.S.A.
