Information for those selected winners living in the U.S.A
While you are living in any one of the States in the U.S.A, you have chances to register for the permanent residence or adjust your status if you are selected for the visa lottery program and meet the DV Lottery requirements. Each month you have to check the Visa Bulletin and when your case number is current in any given month,
then you can file Form I-485.
Also you will be eligible to obtain a green card as a derivative applicant through the American visa lottery program if you meet all of the following conditions.
Must be wife or husband or the child of a selected DV lottery principal applicant.
Immigrant visas must be available at the time you are filing the Form I-485.
You are admissible to the United States.
Your application will be rejected, if you submit your Form I-485 when the immigrant visa is not available.
You must submit the following documents along with your I-485 form.
Recently taken two passport-style photos
If your age falls between 14 and 79 years, then you must provide biographic Information through form G 325A
Photo identification copy issued by the Government.
Original copy of your birth certificate.
Visa page copy of your passport.
Entry seal printed passport page copy.
Arrival/ Departure Record through form I-94.
Medical examination and vaccination record through form I-193
Processing Fees copy of the diversity visa lottery from DOS.
Courts record copy (If been arrested ever.)
Principal applicants must submit High School Diploma certificate or Evidence of work experience as per the DV Lottery.
A copy of the selection letter for the diversity visa lottery from DOS.
