U.S visa lottery confirmation number is now one of the important things if you are playing the US visa lottery in the name of
DV lottery or in the name of green card lottery. When a person submit adv lottery application form which is also called
as E-DV entry with required information and correct image file, the American Government's DV lottery system will
accept the application form and will show a confirmation number in the computer screen.
This confirmation number contains 16 digits of alphanumeric which will include the fiscal year in the front.
This confirmation was introduced in the DV 2010 US visa lottery program and the entire applicants were allowed to
check their status in the official web site using the confirmation number for the first time.

are selected as winners then they must follow the instructions shown in the web site.
So don't loose your confirmation number in the year 2010 and if you happened to lost it you will never be able to check your
results for the DV2012 US visa lottery program.
The US State Department had clearly mentioned that the confirmation number will be issued only once.
If you request to reissue the confirmation number, your request will be ignored and you will have to wait for to participate in
the next coming DV lottery program.
